Laura Caloia

Laura started her formal dance training at the age of eight.  For 19 years she studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, cheerleading and acrobatics. During this time, she performed and competed around Australia and USA.  She performed in prestigious events such as the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony and in the Federation of a Nation Centenary parade. Laura completed a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) in 2009, a degree which led Laura to work with Australia's leading theatre choreographers. In 2010, she had the privilege of performing at the Canonisation of Mary Mackillop in Rome along with the celebratory concerts and masses and was lead choreographer for the show.  In 2011, she graduated as a certified dance, music and drama teacher.  Laura's passion for Latin dance has been the driving force of her dance career in the most recent years, specialising in Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Burlesque and fusion.
